Description

Comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) was discovered about a year ago and is expected to be ejected from the Solar System after it passes perihelion on January 3, 2022. Early this morning (December 3) it was close to the M3 globular cluster in Canes Venatici. Thanks to @Tony Cook 's excellent tutorial (https://www.astrobin.com/151422/) I was able to get a result that (mostly) made it worth hopping out of bed at 4 am.
