Description

Reprocess of M27 data that I captured last year.... the whole dataset is just too good to not be processed😁

(Data was processed in SHO palette with synthetic S2, and combination by @thecoldestnights (many thanks Ludo mate))

The Dumbbell Nebula is a planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula, at a distance of about 1227 light-years. This object was the first planetary nebula to be discovered; by Charles Messier in 1764.

Distance to Earth: 1,360 light years

Radius: 1.44 light years

Coordinates: RA 19h 59m 35s Dec +22° 43′ 16″

Absolute magnitude (V): −0.6+0.4; −0.3

Constellation: Vulpecula
