Description

The Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae are active star-forming regions and one of the brightest parts of the Milky Way when viewed in the night sky. The brightest pink blob present in widefield Milky Way images would be the Lagoon with the fainter Trifid close by but still discernable.

This was taken throughout July-August 2022. Thankfully no camera rotation was required to frame both targets in. I could actually see the Lagoon's outline when using the L-Extreme with a visual telescope. Too bad I have to use it 90% of the time for imaging
