Description

A real surprise for me. I struggled for more than 2 weeks on this. Seeing suddenly dropped to .78 arc seconds according to Meteoblue and I was able to sneak in this capture last night in between all the bad weather. The session started with intermittent clouds, but later cleared off while I was asleep.  After all the processing, I was surprised at all the other galaxies in the final image too. You can bag a lot of galaxy action in the SuperCluster for sure.

NGC3198 was discovered by William Parsons, 3rd Earl of Rosse (Lord Rosse), sometime before 1850.[2] NGC 3198 is located in the Leo Spur,[2] which is part of the Virgo Supercluster,[5] and is approximately 47 million light years away. (Wikipedia)
