Description

Rosette nebula is one of the largest nebula in our galaxy. It’s larger than Orion nebula by three times. It’s mainly composed of Hydrogen gas that ionized by the young stars cluster NGC 2244 in the middle of the nebula. It’s located about 4,900 light years in Monoceros, the unicorn constellation. The Bak globules can be seen clearly as black dots. Bak globules is composed of dark dense clouds of gas & dust which could be a precursors for exo solar system. Gear setup: Celestron RASA 8, iOptron GEM 45 guided by ZWO Mini guide scope w/ ZWO 120MM-S, ZWO 2600 MC @0, Antlia ALP-T Ha & Oiii High speed, Subs 97x300 sec, Antlia Triband RGB Ultra, subs 35x300, 40x30 sec for stars. Captured by APT, guided by PHD2, Stacked in APP and extracted as Ha, Oiii & Sii. Processed in PI. Total exposure 11 hours.
