Description

This is about 20 hours of Ha with a variety of exposure times ranging from  600 to 240 seconds.  I was after the outer halo around the nebula core but noticed how nicely the central portion resolved.    I really like the way it shows off the instability on the gas front, the head of Cauliflower or cumulus cloud look
Qualitatively,  it sure looks like a Rayleigh-Taylor Instability or Richtmeyer-Meshkov as seen in terrestrial fluid mechanics.    I'm sure some of you on here know what the nature of this instability/flow is and would love to hear your thoughts and or pointers to the literature if you run across this.
