Description

The Eskimo Nebula, also known as NGC 2392, is a planetary nebula that looks like a man-made Eskimo wearing a parka. We at Al Sadeem observatory captured a stunning image of this nebula using the ASI1600 CMOS Camera, Meade 16" f/8 LX850 Telescope, and Skywatcher EQ8 Pro. The image shows the nebula's central star, a white dwarf, surrounded by a shell of gas and dust that resembles a hooded figure. The colors of the nebula are predominantly blue with hints of red and orange. The image is a testament to the power of modern astrophotography equipment and the beauty of the universe.
