From Horsehead to Boogie Man Nebula @ Ha-HOO

Since December I can call an OIII filter my own. In the night of January 12th to 13th, finally a few hours of clear sky. After I had everything set up, there was a heavy shower of sleet (uiuiui). Then again and again clouds. The dew was so strong that puddles formed on the shelves. The dew cap heating was running at full speed again. Actually a night that nobody needs. But what the heck, clear skies are rare at the moment.

I had approached the area in Orion again. The positioning according to sky coordinates went smoothly.

My images shows a large field in Orion. It goes at the top left of the Boogie Man Nebula (LDN 1622, via Barnards Loop (SH2-276) down to the Horsehead Nebula (B33 / IC434). Between Barnard's Loop and the Horsehead Nebula, there is a large area that is interspersed with dust.

Seit Dezember kann ich einen OIII Filter mein eigen nennen. In der Nacht vom 12. auf den 13. Januar endlich ein paar Stunden klarer Himmel. Nachdem ich alles aufgebaut hatte kam erst mal ein kräftiger Graupelschauer (uiuiui). Dann immer wieder Wolken. Der Tau war so stark, dass sich Pfützen auf den Ablageflächen bildeten. Die Taukappenheizung lief wieder auf Hochtouren. Eigentlich eine Nacht die keiner braucht. Aber was solls, klarer Himmel ist zur Zeit rar.

Ich hatte wieder den Bereich im Orion angefahren. Die Positionierung nach Himmelkoordinaten verlief reibungsfrei.

Meine Aufnahme zeigt ein großes Feld im Orion. Es geht oben links vom Boogie Man Nebel (LDN 1622, über Barnards Loop (SH2-276) bis unten zum Pferdkopfnebel (B33/IC434). Zwischen Barnards Loop und und dem Pferdekopfnebel erstreckt sich ein großer Bereich der mit viel Staub durchsetzt ist.
