Description

This is the " 3rd light" with my Nikon 200mm f2 lens (operated at f2.5 or thereabouts).   I was surprised to see just how much colour there was in the Witch Head region and I decided to "go west of the Witch" to see how the IFN LBN917 and 906 would turn out.

Managed all night (4hours) on the target, and once again I am surprised by the colour.   It is almost too busy and colourful, and I may need to revise the black point and de-saturate. [ALthough I applied very little to begin with].

There are not many images on AB of these object(s), but those that are very good. They are possibly more dramatic than this image - more contrast, less colour.   But I thought folks might be interested to see a different rendition of this area - even if it is more as good photographically.

It should make an interesting mosaic with the Witch Head. [Not sure how to post a mosaic of two images previously posted.  It is a revision or a new post?]
