I suppose AP would be easier if I was not always doing it the Hard Way. NGC 253 never clears 30 degrees altitude from my location ... a location 6 miles (10 km for the rest of the world) due north of a city of 40,000 people ... and guiding OAG with a small sensor. Two of those of course were easily preventable.

But it is all a fun learning experience. I'm happy enough with it for now, next year I can make a dark-sky expedition to get a nicer image.

This was another impulsive target selection, so not a lot of time to get more subs.

Title: NGC 253 Sculptor Galaxy Revision

Description: Upon revisiting this I had forgotten how little data I had, and it's lower quality. At the time I was struggling with tracking (eventually narrowed down to my ZWO OAG and solved). As I re-visit my older images I have been deleting many of the lower quality subs but on this one, my current standards would not have left me much to work with!

Without the option to cull the weaker subs, this is mostly applying new processing techniques I have been learning over the months. I was hopeful to push up the blue in the outer spiral arms, but my blue data was just not good enough to do it.

This object will be high on my list for a do-over by gathering new data, so I close the book on this data and mark it Final.
