New Rig Build - Williams Optics FLT 132 with flattener

Revision title: iOptron HAE43EC arrived this afternoon!

Description

Just arrived and fresh out of it's case.  I'm starting with the 1x1 WO68III flattener for deeper imaging.  Will be combining this with my new ASI2600MM Pro with 36mm Chroma filters and EFW.  Should be receiving new iOptron HAE43EC in the next week or so.

Title: Comparison of my two scopes side by side

Description: New scope is massive next to my GT81. That's the 2600MM Pro on the 81. I'll be reverting back to the 1600MM Pro on the GT81 and looking to shoot dual targets. I'll be using onboard computers and remoting in for both of these with NINA as the core capture software.

Title: Outfitted and awaiting the new mount

Description: Added the ASI2600MM Pro, OAG-L, ASI174MM mini, EFW 36mm x 7, Astrozap anti-dew strips, Pegasus Powerbox Advance, Pegasus FocusCube2, and Beelink U59 mini computer. Wiring is already fairly clean and I'm using a bit of velcro here and there. Just need the new mount with pier extension. Going to adjust the flattener spacing and check back focus on a day target to dial in the rough focus for the FocusCube2 to be ready. Also need to load up the new computer with all the necessary software and configure a NINA profile. Remote laptop setup to my portable and home networks will be part of that. Second time through all this is so much easier than learning the ropes the first time with my GT81.

Title: iOptron HAE43EC arrived this afternoon!

Description: I was able to bench test it and to get my FocusCube2 to rough focus (17700 steps out) during the day, after the heavy snow stopped blocking my view to the distant tree line. Hope to setup the main focus config and the focus offsets tomorrow night. No issues getting the ASCOM drivers loaded and communicating with NINA. Only odd thing so far (that I was aware before ordering) is that the USB connection passes through the hand controller. So, the hand controller must always be connected. I'm likely going to velcro it to the mount after my short cables arrive. Also note that the power input requires a 2.5 F to 2.1 M adaptor to connect to the Pegasus Powerbox Advance. I'm out of those, ordered and to arrive tomorrow. My rigs are always configured to run off one power pack for the Powerbox Advance. That goes into my Jackery 1000 battery pack. Perfect remote configuration, especially if you install the offline sky images for NINA's frame assistant.

Anyway, the weather looks rough to take any significant captures in the next week. Tomorrow night may be a few poor seeing hours to test everything.
