Description

Hellas again should be bright and clear in this image but its edges are indistinct, presumably because of dust.

From the literature:

"(Hellas) has been one of the most active sites (for dust storms) of the twentieth century....The 1909 encircling dust storm almost certainly arose in Hellas, but the start of the event was missed. Hellas was subsequently the source of four telescopic encircling dust storms..."
