Dieser Medusanebel ist eine Kooperation mit
Marco Eckstein .
Es entstand aus der Kombination von zwei Datensätzen:
Marco nahm vom 20.02. bis 5.03.2021 mit einem Celestron Edge HD8 und einer ASI2600mc pro 58 x 480 Sekunden auf (Filter Optolong L-extreme). Hinzu kamen von mir 28 x 600 s H-alpha und 18 x 600 s OIII mit dem
AOM-Refraktor .
Bei der Mischung der Kanäle wurden das mono-H-alpha zu 75% und das H-alpha aus dem RGB-Bild zu 25% gewichtet. Für das OIII kamen 30 % aus dem Mono-Kanal und 70 % aus dem RGB-Bild.
Die Gesamtbelichtungsgzeit ist (464 min RGB mit Dualbandfilter + 280 min H-alpha + 180 min OIII =) 15,4 Stunden.
Der Nebel verfügt über eine diffuse OIII-Hülle, die sich schwach erkennbar rechts unten um den hellen Teil herumzieht. Der Wasserstoff bildet diffuse Ausläufer nach links und oben. Eine tiefere Belichtung dürfte weitere Strukturen in der Streifung rechts zutage fördern.

The image is a combination of his picture captured with a Celestron Edge HD8 and a ASI2600mc pro with Optolong L-extreme 2“ (58 x 480 s). I added 28 x 600 s H-alpha and 18 x 600 s OIII from the
AOM-Refraktor .
When mixing the channels, the mono H-alpha was weighted 75% and the H-alpha from the RGB image was weighted 25%. For the OIII, 30% came frm the mono channel and 70% from the RGB image.
The total exposure time is (464 min RGB with dual band filter + 280 min H-alpha + 180 min OIII =) 15.4 hours.
The nebula has a diffuse OIII envelope, wich is faintliy visible in the lower right around the bright part. The hydrogen forms diffuse extensions to the left and above.
