While I decided to point and shoot M101 for the first time with my current setup, I was indefinitely lucky to be there when the SuperNovea SN2023ixf had appeared. I started to shoot M101 the night on 17th/18th May. The sky was clear enough to shoot again the day after. While I was processing the data I've already had, I noticed a small blue dot...I thought that was an artefact. Actually, I saw on internet the day after that it was the famous current SuperNova.
I therefore continue to get as much data as possible with the weather we have and the current very short nights.
I have taken pictures in L-RGB and H on the different nights. All the data were used for the stars of each day and only the best one were kept for the final starless version.
Here, I present you the final version of M101 with the star obtained during the night between 26th and 27th May 2023.
