Description

In preparation for the upcoming Lunar Eclipse I decided to try my ASI533MC Pro on the Esprit 120ED and capture a video to see what it looked like.  I've done images with the ASI2600MM Pro which turned out nice.  There were faint clouds so I didn't expect to get a good shot.  But the clouds cleared and once I finally was able to frame the target I got this video.  No ROI as I didn't check PA and I didn't want it to drift out of frame.  Went long, a 5 minute video (3483 frames).  It compressed down nicely but 30GB for the video is a bit extreme!  I also tried a shorter 2 minute video (539 frames) and the result appeared just a nice.

It looks like I'm set for the eclipse!  Forecast, of course, calls for clouds and chance of rain.  And just so happens I cannot travel this weekend.  Ah well, maybe it'll clear up :fingers-crossed:
