Description

The Carina nebula, one of my favourites from our southern sky’s, it is visible in the Milky Way just above the Southern Cross. About 8,500 light years away (8500 years ago humans were just starting to farm crops) it is absolutely huge being the equivalent of about 4 full moon widths across. More than worth staring at.35 x ten minute exposures. Redcat51 250mm scope, ASI2600MCPro camera, L-Ultimate filter, Ioptron Cem26 mount, ASIAir+, PI, PS, LR
