Description

A beautiful planetary in Perseus the Hero, the Little Dumbbell has been known for 243 years, and like it's larger sibling, is the result of a main-sequence star going through the throes of death. Layers of the progenitor star are being thrown off as a series of expansions and contractions violently disrupt the surface. A showpiece in telescopes as small as 80mm, 76 rides high in Autumn and Winter skies.
