This project has been extremely difficult and frustrating for me. The problems started with faulty calibration frames and no way of redoing them due to the changes in the imaging train, then the tilt in the blue filter and background gradient problems due to light pollution under Bortle 6 skies which were compounded by the calibration issues. I am just happy to be able to show something “acceptable” for all the work that’s gone into it. This project has been “baptism by fire” for me and will make me think twice before attempting another broadband mosaic project from my backyard.
