My first ever dark nebula! I chose this target because a) it's high in the sky for over 8 hours a night and b) there aren't very many images or even a Wikipedia page for this.
10h of 300s L, 2h each of 120s RGB.
RGB was processed normally and stretched using GHS. For L, I separated background and stars, stretched each separately using GHS/Histo, some DarkStructureEnhance, MorphologicalTransformation on the stars and then combined into a new L that was applied to RGB.
I don't know if this process is right or even remotely acceptable - I just went along and did what seemed like taking me in the right direction

UPDATE #1: I uploaded a second revision based on some feedback to remove green, reduce star saturation and to sharpen details. I honestly have no idea what this nebula should look like from a green-balance standpoint
