Description

M94 is one of the prettiest of all Messier galaxies, akin to a delicate flower (much better than its brethren further to the east, M63) blossoming in the outer reaches of space.

As many of mine, this one started as a set of unguided shots (that didn't yield the depth hoped for) then, later (read: 5 years later and the image wouldn't stack up), I picked it up and add a lot more signal to it. And then added H-alpha just to be sure.
