Description

The Horsehead Nebula (or Barnard 33) is certainly one of the most well-known nebulae. As it's one of the first I've ever saw photographed as a kid, it was high on my list of objects. It keeps eluding me due to technical difficulties and weather constraints. Considering I only had two clear nights in the last 11 weeks, I'm glad I got at least some photons for this image. At least this rendition is better than the one in my growing  Pigs with lipstick collection.

NGC 2033 is the reflection and emission nebula around HD 37903 in the lower left.
