Description

This was my first image with my new RC8" from Orion Telescopes. It was the full 1600mm focal length and the reason for so many different exposures lengths was due to the fact there's a bunch of "recommended" charts out there for exposure times, but I've found until you've just experimented with them and seen what your own results are you'll never know if you're getting the best for yourself. I find they're good starting points but according to them my L data should be 24 seconds, and RGB as much as 90s but in reality, I think the best was 180s L and 300s RGB.
