Description

After about a month of tweaks, changes and adjustments I'm finally getting okay images using my new (used) C 9.25 Edge HD.  I've even had to remove and clean the internal flattner lenses in the baffles due to dust build up from the previous owner.  On top of this, the weather in the Northwest US (near Seattle) is quite poor this time of year, further limiting trying my adjustments.  I'm still not there yet, but am excited to get early results such as this capture of M106.  I still have some issues (flare on stars at about the 2:00 position - which I think was caused by dust on the flattner lenses.  I've installed the Celestron dew heater retaining ring which I find works very well in these high-humidity conditions.  Never failed to keep the corrector dry and fog-free.  Hoping to have it zeroed in for this Spring's galaxy season.
