The plan was to capture the wonderful interstellar dust field between the M45 reflection nebula (blue) and the H-alpha rich emission nebula (red) known as The California Nebula.
A previous attempt was thwarted by my choice of lens. It was an excellent short telephoto for daytime use, but the colour fringing when used for Astrophotography was appalling.
I am quite please with this result; but as opinions may vary, I will leave it to the individual viewer to pass judgement.
