Description

Since my last try of imaging a dusty nebula and adding some narrowband data to it has been of limited success, I wondered if I should next target something bright...but the region of LBN 437 / SH2-126 was in a perfect spot of the sky...and if you don't try, you won't get better, right? So I attempted again imaging a dusty region and adding some Ha to it.

This time I am much happier with result compared to vdb 152. During processing I wondered that maybe the problem with vdb 152 had to do with my old flats since LBN 437 at first didn't look very good either, but it was very obvious that my flats from half a year ago weren't working. So I shot a new set of flats and the result was much better. Maybe I should restack vdb 152 with the new flats...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my image of this region in Lacerta which to me looks like a space gecko bathing in hydrogen
