Description

I thought I would take a break from mono imaging for a bit and see how well the OSC does for short sessions like this. Turned out not too bad, but when I have more time I'll revisit this amazing cluster with the mono camera...I think the sensor cover on the 533MC gives me a bit of grief with reflections on the brighter stars.

47 Tucanae (also known as NGC 104) is the second brightest globular cluster in the night sky, after the Omega Centauri cluster, and is one of the jewels of the southern hemisphere skies. It is located approximately 13,000 ly away from Earth and is about 120 ly in diameter.
