Description

IC 342 is a large but faint galaxy in Camelopardalis, obscured by Milky Way dust (hence its name). Not an easy target under by Bortle 7 suburban sky !

200/800 custom newtonian astrograph with Romano Zen optics and carbon fiber tube
TS 2.5" Riccardi-Wynne corrector
ASI1600mm + ZWO LRGB filters
Guiding : ZWO OAG  + ASI120mm mini + AsiairV1
Luminance : 333*60sec at gain 76 and T=-10°C
Chrominance : (70 to 100)*60sec at gain 76 and T=-10°C for each RGB filter
Darks, flats and dark-flats
Conditions : Bortle 7 skies in Paris' suburbs (20km from the Eiffel tower), average seeing, mediocre transparency for chrominance subs.
Capture : 11/06/2021 and 11/08/2021
