Description

The Sh2-240, Simeis 147, Spaghetti Nebula seems to be a fair dark target that requires long time exposure. An estimation of 50 hours+ probably will be sufficient to gain proper SNR and bring out the fainter details. The monsoon season of California during the winter makes it a rather difficult task. I barely finished narrow band M42 and another faint nebula Sh2-308 since last November. Overall I collected 14 hours' data of  the dolphin-head nebula and based on the result I would probably need twice the time for the target. Therefore I would  leave the target of  Sh2-240, for the next year. The current result is a total integration of 52 * 300s from Ha channel.
