Description

Highlighting details of the terrain of Mars becomes more and more difficult with the decrease of its apparent diameter and weather conditions..

However, like others on the site, I was able to detect the dust storm, visible on the Martian limb left in the shape of a cross in a yellow ochre color. In fact, this storm is more important at the rear, south of Vallès Marineris, and we see here only its end.

The main formation is Terra Sirenum. It is also possible to distinguish Olympus Mons near the North Pole.

I added for the first time, in references, the three images of the IRGB channels.

We can see the importance of the IR filter for surface details, and GB filters to highlight polar caps and more generally cloud structures.

This is an image LIRGB, with R=IR and L=30% IR, made from video of 4 minutes per channel (from 20:09 UT to 20:54 UT or 45 minutes of derotation with winjupos).
