Description

I don't know if I'm even going to bother re-uploading all my images to astrobin for various reasons. All I can say is that the site should have had a better data backup strategy, but that doesn't matter now. Very disappointing.

This image was done without HDR bracketed subs that are typically needed for this target. All subs we 50 seconds each, but I took over 140. About 120 were used. Startools can stretch an HDR image quite well, without blowing out the bright areas, keeping the core of M42 from blowing out too much. 120x50s gain 50.

I've struggled with this camera at times, as it seems my darks wouldn't always remove the amp glow that is present. I changed the camera USB3 driver setting to 90 and this has helped reduce the glow a lot.
