Description

This is the galaxy group around NGC 4281, in a distance of about 100 million light years. The elliptical galaxy in the upper right, NGC 4261, is not part of this group. The nice spiral in the middle is NGC 4273. In the lower right, galaxy cluster Abell 1516 is visible. It has about 20-30 member galaxies. Its distance is approximately 1 billion light years.

This image was shot in three nights. Most subs had to be culled because of high clouds, unfortunately.
