Description

Messier 106 is a spiral galaxy located 24 million lightyears away and 135,000 light years across...similar in size to Andromeda Galaxy, but 10 times farther away. It lies in the constellation Canes Venatici. The center of M106 has warm and dense water vapor as identified spectrally.
