Description

Here is an Ha image of this region of H-alpha in Cepheus, located just east of the Elephant Trunk Nebula. The bright area left is Sh2-140; the nebulosity up and to the right of 140 is 145. Data collected last night and the previous night. Last night saw high clouds moving through and several of the frames were pretty washed out compared to the previous night. But I was able to extract much of the background junk and use these to keep the data set largely intact.  I also used a new-to-me process in PixInsight that allowed for great removal of satellite tracks that were not caught in CosmeticCorrection,; these frames were kept in the data set. Going to incorporate that algorithm into my workflow.
