Description

This is the best picture of M5 I ever registered, with my old C8 plus Meade focal reducer, in july 2014.
Messier 5 is one of the most spectacular globular clusters in northern hemisphere. It is located 25000 light years away and it is estimated to be 13 billion years old.
Also visible on this picture is the distant elliptical galaxy IC4537, lying about 500 million light-years away.
