Description

The North America Nebula covers a region more than ten times the area of the full moon. The portion of the nebula resembling Mexico and Central America is known as the Cygnus Wall. This region exhibits the most concentrated star formation. The nebula is approximately 2600 light years away. The ridge know as the Cygnus Wall is approximately 20 light years in length.

Imaging Dates: 2020/09/06, 2020/09/07, 2020/09/20, 2020/10/13, 2020/10/14

This was my first image set with the ZWO ASI1600MM-Pro attempt at SHO (Hubble pallet) processing. Coming from using a modified DLSR in the past, the ZWO camera is amazing and post processing is so much easier. “Good data = Good results”.
