Description

After recovering from a couple relatively minor medical issues over the past month and some a few nights of clear skies I was finally able to add to the Ha stack when I first-lit my then new Askar 130PHQ on the Jellyfish Nebula almost 10 months ago. I have been waiting for this target to come back around and was surprised that I was able to add a couple hours to get a respectable 7.7 hours total data. The bar is now set high for the [OIII] and [SII]. Hehe.

I am VERY happy with my Askar 130PHQ and CEM70 setup in their new home. The PHQ's quad glass with built in flattener means star shape and color quality has been outstanding. Focuser is stout which was critical for my heavy NB/WB optical train. I have mine in an obsy with an iOptron CEM70G on top of an iOptron Permanent Pier. My total RMS with good seeing in a Bortle 5 zone in my back yard averages 0.18 arcsec (Min 0.14 - Max 0.22).

The improved guiding means my stars are much better now than they were when I last shot this target.

CS & GB!
