Description

Lying in the area of the Cassiopeia Constellation this bright emission nebula is located about 11000 light years away from our home. An emission nebula is a nebula formed of ionized gases that emit light in different wavelengths. The orange/red areas represent the high concentration of HII but is visible a huge predominant area of color blue from the emission of light from molecular Oxygen.
