Description

I found this very interesting galaxy using SkyTools4 (Imaging). The only problem is that it is located in Pegasus, which is almost at the meridian by the time I start imaging which reduces the imaging time. Also, the night I tried to image this was very windy.  I therefore imaged over 2 consecutive nights to get enough integration time.

NGC 7479 is a barred spiral galaxy about 105 million light years away.

I really liked the obvious spiral arm structure.
