Description

Another galaxy shot with the SVX. There's always an issue to work through, and this image's challenge was/is a stray light reflection artifact that almost certainly comes from the nearby bright star Cor Caroli. A rainbow arcing reflection was present in the stacks from all three nights that went into this. I'm still trying to narrow down the cause of the issue. The good news is that APP was able to almost completely remove the artifact in the "remove light pollution" tool. Imaging with a >50% moon probably didn't help either, but I take what I get when it comes to clear nights.

All of that aside, I always enjoy imaging and processing a new target. Thanks for looking.
