Description

It's almost full moon so last night I decided to take some H-a data for the Bode's and Cigar Galaxies (M81 & M82). I took about 3 hours (34x300s) data and initially I thought I'd publish just the monochrome data. Then I remembered that I have some old RGB data collected with a Canon 600D DSLR (https://www.astrobin.com/ahu0wg). I'd never put together data with different FOV, so I had to some searching and eventually found out how to merge the H-a data with the RGB data using RegiStar, that did the job quite well, stretching and re-scaling the two sets of data in order to match them.
