Struggled with this one - I combined data from one night at Crested Butte with no filters, plus another night from my backyard using my ZWO Duo filter.
The stars in the Crested Butte subs were so bright and so much bigger than the backyard images that the stacking process produced ringing artifacts on every star, which is a problem I've never had before. I changed the image integration normalization to Linear Fit, and the pixel rejection algorithm to Linear Fit Clipping, and that solved the stacking problem.
I also struggled to get the detail I wanted....I may go back and process just the backyard images......maybe 120s subs was just too great for Crested Butte where the sky is Bortle 2-3.
Anyway, after hours of labor, this is the best I could do
Revision B: I processed just the 83 4-minute subs that I captured from my backyard using the ZWO Duo filter.
