Description

Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko
2021 Apr. 11.78 UT  m1=18.5 (m2=18.7) Dia.=0.2' Tail=0.6' in PA 250 deg; [T31] 0.50-m f/4.4 astrograph + CCD;
T. Prystavski (iTelescope observatory, Q62 (remotely from Siding Spring, Australia))

"I haven't heard of any earlier observations of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko in current return yet.
I was attempting a recovery and found a comet in the images obtained using a 0.50-m f/4.4 astrograph from SSO.
The comet's positions were only ~6 seconds away from MPC ephemeris (based on elements from MPC 89011).
Currently the comet is 18.5 mag. Astrometry was sent to MPC."
