Description

Only rising to 10 degrees above my northern horizon, the Andromeda galaxy has fascinated me since I was a kid. I've always wanted to see it but the weather, seeing conditions, obstacles always seemed to get in the way. I finally got a chance to image it back in 2017 when i was first starting out in astrophotography. Needless to say, the image  i took was very ordinary but i was delighted to capture it and see for the first time the spiral arms and satellite galaxies around it. I decided to re-process the image again the other day and while it is only one sub of 120 seconds duration taken with an astro-modified Canon 5D Mark iii, i was pleasantly surprised by how it turned out. I'm only posting it to add it into my collection on Astrobin.
