Description

Initial cut at an image of the Pinwheel Galaxy, a face-on spiral galaxy 21 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Ursa Major.  Taken as 24 fifteen minute exposures, six each for LRGB for a total of 240 minutes imaging over a few nights about 3/15/22   Captured by staff at the iTelescope observatory in Siding Spring Observatory in Coonabarabran, New South Wales, Australia using a  Planewave 24" reflector telescope and a FLI PL09000 camera.  Data downloaded from iTelescope and then processed with Pixinsight and Apple edit.
