Description

The Helix planetary nebula (NGC7293, Caldwell63), also commonly known as the "Eye of God", discovered by the german astronomer Karl Ludwig Harding in the constellation of Aquarius.
This data aquisition was a project done by me and the astrophotographer Wayne Hall, with the objective of putting as much hours of integration as possible to pull the information of gases out of the nebulae.

Data by Wayne:
Ha 600s x 66
OIII 300s x 36

F/4 - Gain 139 - Bin 1x1 - 800mm

Data by me:
OSC (RGB) + Hutech IDAS LPS-D2 300s x 36

F/5.5 - Gain 120 - Bin 1x1 - 300mm

The Moon was initially (when it was shooted the OIII), in waxing crescent at 3% of ilumination, in a Bortle scale of 4 (21.42 Mag/Arc.Sec)
