Members of the Camelopardalis Cloud, vdB 14 and 15 owe their illumination to two young supergiants, HD 21291 (a B star) and HD 21389( an A star), respectively. These and the other young stars in the area belong to the Cam OB1 star association, which lies about 1 kpc from us and consists of about 40 young stars and several supergiants.

The Milky Way traverses this portion of the sky, and an abundance of stars somewhat hides this cloud and presents a challenge to the image processor: enhance and reveal the cloud structure without overwhelming the image with annoyingly colorful bright stars.
