Description

M1 in SHO Hubble Palette

This image represents my first attempt using Russell Croman's new BlurXTerminator. By using this process, the usual route of Deconvolution was entirely avoided. Instead of using Automatic PSF, the render psf script was employed first and its average value inserted. While still in the linear state, NoiseXTerminator was then used instead of MultiscaleLinearTransform to reduce background fizz. And after stretching, StarXTerminator was used to generate a starless nebula image which was color adjusted with Curves. And after minor adjustments to star size again with BlurX, the unscreened stars were reinserted with PixelMath. Mr. Croman's software has really reduced and improved the processing workflow, in my opinion.

Subframes taken on the nights of Nov. 3, 7, and 9, and Dec 1, 4, and 9, 2022.
