Description

Sadr (Gamma Cygni )is a bright super giant in the constellation Cygnus. Among the brighter stars visible, it is an enormous star, with 12 times the Sun's mass and about 150 times the Sun's radius. The surrounding giant HII region (IC1318 forms a nebula complex with two components bisected by a thick dust lane forming the "Butterfly Nebula". Next to Sadr the Rocking Horse Cluster (NGC6910) appears as a yellowish open cluster when looking through the reddened interstellar dust. The region also contains the Crescent Nebula (NGC6888 which is an emission nebula formed by fast stellar wind colliding with slow moving wind ejected from a red giant, creating a shock wave.

I would need more integration time or Ha data to bring out the nebula.
