Finally the dark nights are coming back to Scandinavia and even if that means that the summer is ending, I'm happy to start to collect photons again :-)
It is always so exiting to set up the gear for the first time after the summer, you never know if everything is going to work.
I had two objects in mind to choose between, the Cave Nebula and the Pacman Nebula. I chose the last one cause I tried to image this object for the last 3 years, but the weather never made it possible.
I managed to collect 63 images before the morning glow started to appear around 03.00, but only 51 of them where good enough to use.
Very high humidity (98%) and bad seeing came to visit me and decided to stay over night
) the second night I collected only 11 images (7 usable) before the fog entered the scene.
Unfortunately I noticed too late that the focus was not perfect and the stars are therefore a bit overexposed.
