This target was taken trying to dodge the moon, HA during nearing full moon and Lum and RGB before moon rise. Taken over two nights, however not much changed in the imaging train during these so stacked pretty well. Actually the stacked image almost looks better then my processed one ... maybe I am a bit of a purest.
The stars are much better in this image than my previous attempts, worked on the collimation abit and I think it was less windy, so my guiding was better.
Anyway the polar alignment was far better, with this as I have started to use the polar alignment routine in Indi and I managed to get the error down to almost nothing.
This has drastically improved guiding, to around 0.75 RMS. Also I have pushed the guide exposure time up to 4 seconds, which has helped with chasing seeing.
On the Ha data, I am abit disappointed, as not much is showing in the arms of the galaxy. I think to pull this out, I might need to up the exposure time to 600s and collect more data, not sure if it is worth it ... I will keep this target for when i upgrade my newt to a 10inch next season.
